The training programme will equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to:
- Prepare and deliver a live talk about their work and the work of your organisation.
- Develop a stage presence and gain experience of public speaking.
- Conduct interviews as both interviewer and interviewee.
Alongside this, delegates will receive advice and tips about aspects of media engagement in the knowledge that they might need to utilise this at some point in their career. Knowing how to conduct themselves in a radio or TV interview will be a valuable skill in a world that wants to know more about the work that goes on behind the company doors.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to bond and network together, helping to create an atmosphere of trust that makes it easier to take risks. Breaking through personal boundaries is a vital part of becoming a more confident communicator. This shared experience encourages the employees to form a network of mutual support and encourages future collaborations.
The FameLab: Beyond the Lab training will involve a mixture of didactic training, practical exercises and interactive activities as well as a combination of individual, small group and larger group contexts.
