About In Search of Now
What if the present moment – the ‘now’ we all inhabit – isn’t just a tick of the clock?
Journalist Jo Marchant and physicist Jeff Forshaw embark on a mind-bending exploration of the science behind how we understand time with broadcaster Claudia Hammond.
We feel that the present is everything; all we can know. Yet physics finds no universal ’now’. To explore what a moment really is, Jo and Jeff draw on state-of-the-art discoveries in neuroscience, psychology, cosmology and quantum physics, revealing an evolving, interconnected tapestry that is the source of our lives and selves, and perhaps even reality itself.
There will be a book signing after this event.
