We’re delighted to share that we have been shortlisted for the SoGlos Awards for Charity of the Year. The award recognises charities that have positively impacted the local community.
At Cheltenham Festivals, we’re proud to be recognised as a charity committed to sharing the joy of culture with our local community, whether that be through Festivals or our Learning and Participation programmes.
We’re thrilled to announce this nomination as we move forward in our 80th year, with a year-round campaign to bring culture to 80,000 children. As part of this goal, we hope to continue to inspire the next generation of creative minds by sparking a curiosity for literature, science and music.
We're proud of our year-round commitment to a world where everyone can access culture. Alongside our Jazz, Music, Science and Literature Festivals, our Learning and Participation team delivers 180 days of outreach with schools and communities from Gloucestershire and beyond so that young people can experience the power of culture.
We are proud to have also been shortlisted for the SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards for Event of the Year for the Jazz and Literature Festivals. We pride our Festival events on variety and talent-development, celebrating local talent and headliners alike.
Our Festivals make a great day out for the whole family, with events catered to both children and adults. Having recently announced the Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2025 line-up, we’re excited to share a range of family-friendly events, including Jazz It Up on the Free Stage, a Family Concert and a Jazz Concert for Schools.
We couldn’t do this work without the support of our community and local organisations. We’re proud to have been recognised with a nomination for the C2S Awards 2025 Community Category. This award is open to businesses or social enterprises that have made a significant positive impact on the local community. The support of our volunteers, patrons, members and partners helps us to deliver our Festival events and year-round outreach programmes.
If you can, we kindly ask you to support us by voting for Cheltenham Festivals. Your vote would help us to continue sharing a love of culture with local communities and school-aged children across Gloucestershire and beyond.
