News Story
We have our winning project!
We are delighted to announce that Sabrina Fearon-Melville, with her impactful podcast Third Spaces, is the recipient of the 2024 FUTURE VOICES award.
Back in November, we launched the VOICEBOX FUTURE VOICES Award, powered by the Carole Epstein Foundation. The winner would receive an £800 cash prize and year round mentoring to help develop their creative practice or bring a project to life - maybe even making an appearence in the VOICEBOX tent.
Open to UK-based writers, campaigners and innovators aged 18-30, the award sought applicants whose work tells powerful stories, tackles social issues, or supports positive change.

About Third Spaces...
Sabrina’s project aims to create a safe space for early-career creatives, connecting them with experienced mentors and providing real-life examples of overcoming challenges in their industries. Through her work, she is addressing the barriers faced by those who often find networking events intimidating and fostering an inclusive creative community.
Sabrina will use the prize to help fund travel costs for podcast guests, ensuring a diverse range of voices can be heard, and it will also use part of the prize to host an in-person panel event that will bring together creatives for networking and discussions about community-focused projects.
Congratulations, Sabrina! We can’t wait to support Third Spaces as it continues to inspire young creatives and drive positive change. Thank you to everyone who applied and we look forward to seeing more incredible projects in the future.
