Founded in Leeds in 2006, Gentleman’s Dub Club have become one of the most electrifying live acts in the UK.

Blending dub, reggae and electronic music, their high-energy shows have made them festival favorites, with standout performances at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bestival and beyond. Their international appeal has taken them from India to the USA, Morocco to Iceland, captivating audiences with their signature bass-heavy sound.

Following a series of acclaimed albums — including Down to Earth, FourtyFour, The Big Smoke, Dubtopia and Lost In Space — their latest release, On a Mission (2024), pushes their sound even further, cementing their place at the forefront of modern dub and reggae.

When I talk about energy, commitment, vibes, and excitement – you haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen Gentleman’s Dub Club.

David Rodigan MBE

Their track High Grade has become a reggae anthem, and their music consistently tops the iTunes reggae charts. Long supported by BBC Radio 1Xtra’s David Rodigan, they’ve graced Maida Vale Studios and taken over Rodigan’s show for a special guest mix.

GDC’s collaborations stretch across genres, featuring artists like Joe Dukie (Fat Freddy’s Drop), Hollie Cook, P Digsss (Shapeshifter NZ), Chali 2na (Jurassic Five) and Kiko Bun.

Beyond GDC, the members are influential across the music industry. They write and produce for artists like Jorja Smith and Maverick Sabre, perform at Ronnie Scott’s, teach at Trinity College and even direct The Outlook Orchestra.

With unstoppable energy both in the studio and on stage, Gentleman’s Dub Club continue to push the boundaries of modern dub and reggae, keeping the scene alive and thriving.
