About Sian Williams: The Power of Anxiety
Broadcaster and clinical psychologist Sian Williams challenges us to think differently about anxiety and offers practical, evidence-based tips to help us ride the worry wave. What if we stopped trying to fight the waves and, instead, learned to ride them?
Anxiety can have an immense power, affecting the way we think, feel and behave. It keeps us inside, away from people, places and opportunities. Makes us question, doubt or criticise ourselves and threatens to overwhelm us. In conversation with Catherine Loveday, Sian helps us understand that rather than squaring up to anxiety, we should listen to what it is saying and start celebrating this unique sensitivity that makes us feel deeply and intensely. Sharing exercises and expert research, she will help you unlock the power of your anxiety.
There will be a book signing after this event.
