How to book tickets

Who is an access booking for?

Access bookings are for wheelchair users, for anyone with visual impairments, d/Deaf people, aisle seat requirements and seating suitable for anyone with neurodivergence or sensory processing disorders.

We offer a complimentary personal assistant ticket to each event for all customers, excluding events that include book or meal within the ticket price.

Accessing our venues

Our Festivals take place in and around Cheltenham including tented venues in Montpellier Gardens and Imperial Gardens and are all fully accessible.

You can find more information about each venue here.

Should an event contain strobe lighting or sudden loud noises this will be listed in the event information and there will be on-site warnings at the venue.

Fully adapted toilet facilities are located and clearly signposted at all our Festival sites.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all venues

BSL/captioned events and quiet opening times

You can find out which events are captioned or BSL interpreted by using the filters on the What’s On page.

BSL interpreters will always be positioned on the left hand side of the stage from the audience's perspective. This will help you when selecting your seat.

There are quiet opening times at all Interactive Zones at our Science Festival. These will be clearly advertised.

What is a Relaxed event?

The performance or activity is specifically designed to provide a more relaxed, accommodating and welcoming environment for people of all ages who might find traditional settings overwhelming. Adaptations are made to the performance itself and the venue to better accommodate people with disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, motor and communication disorders, or sensory sensitivities – in short, anyone who would enjoy and benefit from a less structured atmosphere.

These events are produced in a variety of ways to reduce anxiety and ensure a safe and enjoyable live event experience.

  • These events have a relaxed attitude to audience noise and audience members are free to move around, leave and re-enter at any point and vocalise
  • The events will include calm lighting
  • There are no sudden loud noises or strobe lighting
  • Our venue staff will be briefed on how they can support you and the event
  • Events will state whether they are relaxed in both the brochure and the What's On grid for each Festival

Sensory aids

Backpacks containing sensory aids such as ear defenders and fidget toys can be borrowed free of charge from our on-site Box Office. These can be used for the duration of your visit, please return them to the Box Office before you leave.

We continually strive to improve through collaboration with external partners. What else can we be doing? If you have any suggestions to improve access, please let us know.
