Hot Weather Warning
With high temperatures expected, we want everyone to enjoy the Festival while staying safe, comfortable and hydrated.
We’re working closely with our venues to keep spaces as cool and well ventilated as possible and there are a few simple things you can do to look after yourself and those around you.
- Keep hydrated
Free drinking water is available at all our Festival venues, with water coolers also available at Cheltenham Town Hall and Pittville Pump Room. Drink regularly throughout the day and don’t wait until you feel thirsty, as thirst can be a sign that you’re already becoming dehydrated.
- Keep your energy up
Hot weather can leave you feeling more tired than usual. Eating little and often can help you keep your energy levels up, so remember to take breaks and have something to eat throughout the day.
- Dress for the weather
Wear loose, lightweight and breathable clothing, apply suncream and bring a hat if you’ll be spending time outside.
Try to avoid spending long periods in direct sunlight and take regular breaks somewhere cool or shaded.
